Through our ONE Program, our union offers events throughout the year to support our members and our community. We believe that an active membership is a healthy and effective membership.  SLEA leadership plans a variety of social, informational, and community based events, so there is an event for everyONE!  

Supporting Each Other

We start our year off right by welcoming back our SLEA members at the General Membership Meeting. This is a chance to get pertinent information about the SLEA and school district as well as meeting the SLEA leadership.

SLEA members love Aubree's in South Lyon, and a little competition - the annual Euchre Tournament is always a good time!

​At our New Teacher Dinner, we introduce our new SLCS hires to the SLEA officers and provide an opportunity for them to meet our UniServ director, MESSA rep, and MEA financial advisors. We introduce members to all of the resources and support our active membership has to offer them! 


Appy Hour at Aubree's is a night filled with information for our newest members.  This SCECH eligible event is designed to provide members who are in years 1-3 with information about the educator evaluation process at SLCS.
